The Interactive Metronome™

Synchronised For Success

Computer based programme gives hope to many people

The Interactive Metronome® is a computer-based programme that works on the brain by targetting timing, rhythmicity, and synchronicity thereby increasing the speed and coordination of informational signals within the brain. A patented audio or audio and visual guidance system provides immediate feedback measured in milliseconds and a score is provided. This allows the participant to adjust his responses on a moment-by-moment basis.

Why use the Interactive Metronome™ for children

Through rythmic, synchronised repetitive movements, the Interactive Metronome® helps improve:

How does it improve Athletes' Performance?

The ability to time movements within miliseconds is an essential skill for people who engage in sport activities. The Interactive Metronome™ is a patented computer-based program designed to improve focus, timing and motor processing. The athlete listens to a computerized metronome sound and attempts to complete a motor action at the precise time as the sound. Typically most athletes will hit too early, indicating a tendency to react soon.

The Interactive Metronome™, which was initially design to improve the attention of children with Attention Deficit Disorder, is now being used by school and college level sports teams as well as the USA's National Football League, Baseball League and even the PGA Tour.
