Catherine Milford

Cathy is the founder and clinical lead at A.T.L.A.S. Training. She is a highly experienced paediatric occupational therapist and psychologist with specialist interests in sensory processing, emotional regulation, mental health and neurodevelopmental differences. She is passionate about helping children and young people build confidence, participate fully in everyday life and achieve their potential.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (CORU registration number OT015370) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, before going on to complete a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Trinity College Dublin, where her research focused on the lived experiences of adolescents with developmental coordination disorder (DCD/dyspraxia).

She also holds a postgraduate diploma in psychology from the Open University (PSI No: M7742) and is currently completing a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology through London Metropolitan University, with research exploring the relationship between sensory processing and mental health.

Cathy has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in sensory processing, emotional regulation and paediatric intervention approaches, including Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening®, Visual-Vestibular Integration, SI and Beyond, and Interactive Metronome™. She has also completed additional training in Theraplay®, PECS™, and sign language, alongside advanced mentorship with Dr. Lucy Jane Miller, a recognised leader in sensory processing and integration.
